Mike Szolosi was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where he and his wife have raised their two children. Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1992 from GMI Engineering & Management Institute in Flint, Michigan. Shortly after graduating, Mike attended the University of Dayton School of Law where he graduated in 1995.
Mike began his professional legal career working for a premier central-Ohio insurance defense law firm handling products liability litigation and other civil litigation matters where he relied upon his technical background to help understand and solve challenging legal issues. He applied his methodical problem solving approach to defending national and international product manufacturers and the engineers who work for them. Mike has successfully litigated cases in state and federal courts involving recreational vehicle lemon law issues, major truck accidents in negligently constructed road construction zones, products liability cases involving cement, home appliances, automobile tires and anti-lock braking systems, HVAC equipment, light fixtures, and others. Mike has handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters including non-compete agreement litigation, employee embezzlement claims, partnership disputes, personal injury matters, and a host of others.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mike has assisted individuals and businesses with the legal issues that crop up when buying, selling or owning real estate. As a few examples, Mike has handled informal and formal property tax valuation complaints, guided clients through buying and selling a home, litigated landlord-tenant disputes, and failure to disclose home defect cases. Mike also helps individuals and couples develop estate plans, and individuals and families with probate and trust administration matters.

Mike has also handled a variety of litigation involving real estate including residential disclosure fraud claims, landlord - tenant security deposit litigation, disputes over realtor fees, and claims asserted against home inspectors.
